This is a special cask finish from Knappogue Castle. A non-chill filtered, triple-distilled single malt aged for a minimum of 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Marco de Bartoli Marsala casks. Only 690 bottles of these were made using the famous Marco di Bartoli of Sicily’s finest wine casks.
Our experts say:Some coffee, milk chocolate and cocoa tones on the nose, with the vanilla & caramel of the bourbon casks creating a good base. The Marsala wine effect leaves a beautiful baked apple, brioche and toasted flavours on the palate with a soft warm spicy finish.
