Dunville’s Three Crowns Peated

The historic Dunville’s 3 Crowns brand has been revived by Echlinville Distillery in Northern Ireland.

This peated vintage blend whiskey is their latest expression and believed only to be Ireland’s third peated whiskey. The subtly smoky dram has already been hailed by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible as ‘a rare treat of an Irish’, receiving a score of 94.5 out of 100 and a ‘Liquid Gold’ medal in the publication, which is widely regarded as the world’s leading whiskey guide.

This is a smooth whiskey with gentle yet pure peaty expression and oak influence. The nose is elegant and sweet, with marmalade, honey, pear, toffee and vanilla pods with a hint of peppery spice.

Perfect balance and finish with a pleasant smoke from the peat cask.
